Now, before we get too carried away, let us take a moment for a brief reality check. While the 2005 Chrysler 300C is not flawless in either its design or execution, we think it’s notable as much for the overall effect it will have on the brand as for the car itself. In our opinion, this big, handsome sedan will likely cause both jaded journalists and average car buyers to rethink their expectations of Chrysler products from here on out.

Crossfire coupe last year gave us cause to consider that the PT’s success might be more than simply a fluke. Enter the 2005 Chrysler 300C and we’re starting to believe there’s a full-fledged trend developing here.
While it’s too soon
to tell if this string of successes will continue, the folks at Chrysler appear
to be on a roll. Heck, if they can keep this up they may actually have a shot
at winning back a good many of the customers they drove into the arms of foreign manufacturers over the past several decades.
