Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop - Inspiron E1505 notebook review.

The Dell Inspiron E1505 extend Dell's commitment to provide technologies previously available only on high-end systems, in a slim package weighing about six pounds. Inspiron E1505 has enough power to make it the perfect PC for those who want a great balance of price and performance.

The notebook is sturdy enough to feel comfortable lifting it by one corner. However, I would like better overall build quality. It is comparable to Sony and others but does not come near the solid (and expensive) IBM ThinkPad line. Just like my Inspiron 9300, there is a gap at the bottom of the LCD. This area also gets quite warm. It must be where the LCD backlight or inverter is. I wonder if the gap is purposeful to allow some heat to escape. More here - http://www.toplaptops.org/
